In October 2008, Nancy and her husband did a self-drive safari around the northern half of Namibia, starting on the Coast at Walvis Bay, going up through Erongo to Etosha and the banks of the Okavango River, returning to Windhoek via the vulture "restaurant" near Otjiwarango. Nancy had many outstanding opportunities, in beautiful light, to photograph birds in their remote environments.
